Pitti Bimbo is an international event that Minicool can’t miss. For our team it’s a real pride to offer our products at an event that is popular throughout the world. Near the center of Florence we find the ancient Basso fortress, nowadays an original and fascinating exhibition center. It consists of several heterogeneous and unique buildings, and a luxurious location that awakens the curiosity of any visitor.
Each atmosphere is designed with care and delicacy, faithful to the greatness of one of the best children’s fairs around the world. The coherence of the brands in style and concept never ceases to surprise us year after year, it’s impressive the design work behind each company. One of the most surprising things is the great diversity you can find: walking in the enclosure you can see from popcorn and cotton Candy stands, an artist making giant soap bubbles, bicycles with messages, photo booths, DJs and even Tweety dressed by Roberto Cavalli. It’s in that moment when you realize that these things can only happen at Pitti Bimbo!
When you cross the gates of the fortress, you feel immersed in the world of children automatically, and not because it is full of children, but for the atmosphere, color, graphics and magic that permeates every corner. All of this accompanied often with music that leaves no one indifferent. Although Pitti Bimbo is a business fair, to work in these special circumstances makes everything flow in perfect harmony.
Once immersed in the environment we started visiting exhibitors: the decor, color, graphic details, the trends panels, the products, the incredible attention to details… The most important and transgressive brands in the world present their collections exclusively at Pitti. This is how the wonderful fashion shows have allowed us to know the AW 15/16 collections. It is impossible to attend a children’s show and not to be thrilled with the grace and enthusiasm that they transmit being so small!
Everything in Pitti is inspiring and the Minicool Team always visits it with the intention to learn, analyze and capture the essence of what may come in a few years. And most importantly, it’s an opportunity for us to approach creative and visionary people from who we never stop learning.
