The e-commerce has transformed the way we used to buy, but it has also caused many brands to use their Flag-stores as a space to offer added value. This seems especially important when going to shop with children, who are usually quite strict customers.
A store that has recently caught our attention is Little Giants Giant Shorties in Brooklyn, New York. The brand has clothes for babies and children up to 8 years, especially t-shirts and hoodies with rebel and unapologetic messages and illustrations that perfectly illustrate their philosophy. An urban brand that they advertise as not suitable for all parents. Only for those that feel young, whatever their age is.
The space breaks with the clichés of children’s clothing stores presenting an environment dominated by cement, wood, and black. A green neon on a wall of grass welcomes us to the store, but certainly what catches the attention of adults and children is the big screen playing cartoons on a sophisticated pool of transparent balls.
The garments stand out for their quality and for their simple, direct and not always politically correct messages, inspired by youth movements and present and past social revolutions. A brand, that according to the web itself, is designed to be worn perfectly by adults, but made only for the little ones.
The store is located in Brooklyn (in the City Point Mall) the perfect neighborhood for a rebel and urban store like this one.
